Application Process

To be considered an applicant for a specific posted position, individuals must complete the online application process.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL APPLICANTS:  Anyone offered a position at BCTC,  the following  completed clearances must be on file prior to the first day of employment:

  • Criminal History Record (Act 34) – obtain a criminal record check online via PATCH  (Pennsylvania Access To Criminal History) https://epatch.state.pa.us/Home.jsp
  • FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114) – Go to this link to register, submit payment, and view fingerprint locations and schedules.
  • Child Abuse Clearance:  Child abuse clearances can be processed on line at https://www.compass.state.pa.us/CWIS. Online applicants are required to create an account and can make the $13 payment using a credit card.
  • School Health Personnel Record – Is required for reporting results of a physical exam and TB test. [View the related file below].

If you have recent processed forms (under five years old) meeting any of these requirements, please attach an electronic copy along with your application packet and make note of it on your application.  It you do not have recent forms, it is not necessary to include them in your application packet, however, processing would be necessary upon acceptance of any position at BCTC.
