On Friday, December 10, 2021, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court upheld the PA Commonwealth Court’s decision to end the Acting Secretary of School Health’s school masking order, effective immediately. This judgment defers all masking requirements to local education agencies.

Based on BCTC’s Health and Safety Plan, and given that the County transmission level has reached the designation of “high” (as per CDC data), staff, students, and visitors are required to wear a face covering in all BCTC buildings, and on transportation, regardless of vaccination status, until further notice.
