Clearances

To be considered an applicant for a specific posted position, individuals must complete the online application process. Candidates for employment are also required to provide up-to-date clearances prior to first day of employment.

All employees of BCTC must have the following completed clearances on file:

  • Criminal History Record (Act 34) – obtain a criminal record check online via PATCH  (Pennsylvania Access To Criminal History) visit https://epatch.pa.gov/home to create an account and can make a payment using a credit card.

  • FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114) – Go to this link to register, submit payment, and view fingerprint locations and schedules.

  • Child Abuse Clearance (Act 126) –  Child abuse clearances can be processed on line at https://www.compass.state.pa.us/CWIS. Online applicants are required to create an account and can make a payment using a credit card.

  • School Health Personnel Record – Is required for reporting results of a physical exam and TB test.

If you have recent processed forms (under five years old) meeting any of these requirements, please attach an electronic copy along with your application packet and make note of it on your application.  It you do not have recent forms, it is not necessary to include them in your application packet, however, processing would be necessary upon acceptance of any position at BCTC.
