BME Students Excel in VEI’s Regional Business Plan Competition

Students from Berks Career & Technology Center’s (BCTC) Business Management and Entrepreneurship program showcased their exceptional skills and innovation at Virtual Enterprises International’s NY Metro South Division’s Regional Business Plan competition. The event, which attracted participants from schools across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, proved to be a platform for BCTC students to demonstrate their entrepreneurial prowess.

The competition, held virtually, required participants to submit executive summaries and deliver a compelling 10-minute presentation to a judging panel comprising industry experts. Following the presentation, students engaged in a 5-minute Q&A session, demonstrating their in-depth understanding of their respective business plans.

We are delighted to announce that the afternoon class, representing their business “Naturally Threaded”, emerged victorious, claiming the 1st place in the competition. Their outstanding performance not only reflects the dedication and hard work of the students but also highlights the high standards of education provided by Berks Career & Technology Center.

In addition to the afternoon class’s success, the morning class, with their business “Revelation”, demonstrated remarkable competence and secured the 2nd place in the competition. This achievement is a testament to the commitment of BCTC’s Business Management and Entrepreneurship program to nurturing the next generation of business leaders.

The winner of the regional competition, Naturally Threaded, has earned the opportunity to compete in the prestigious National Business Plan Competition, scheduled to take place in New York City on April 11th and 12th. This is a remarkable accomplishment, and we wish them the best as they represent Berks Career & Technology Center on the national stage.

BCTC’s Business Management and Entrepreneurship program continues to inspire and prepare students for success in the dynamic world of business. The dedication of both students and educators is evident in their exemplary performance in competitions of this caliber.
